Apple's revolutionary new Unix-based operating system was developed from
the ground up. OSX has new features and usability that provide better
stability, including multi-tasking and protected memory, you can still
run OS 9 due to the dual boot system. OSX Jaguar is faster than other
Apple operating systems, OSX remains user-friendly to the point of affection.
Even so, OSX is a radical departure from previous Mac operating systems.
VTC author Matt Neutra will walk you through all of the new elements of
OSX and show you how to maneuver it like a power user. He starts by familiarizing
you with the cool carbon and aqua interface, then guides you through the
use of the Finder. You will learn how to set your preferences and permissions,
how to use Sherlock and, how to share files, even the command line prompt
for typing commands right in the heart of the machine. Once you are comfortable,
youíll be introduced to various multimedia applications, including
QuickTime, iTunes, and iMovie. To find out more about this amazing OS
these are the Apple OSX tutorials to watch.
This training course is designed for fast learning and covers all the
fundamental points of the application, all cds work on a mac or pc and
no application is needed.
