InDesign 2.0, Adobe's exciting new page layout application for printers
and graphic designers, shares the language of professionals , delivering
total creative workflow, productivity, and precision for designing layout.
It integrates with Adobe Photoshop 7 and Illustrator 10 , providing a
single integrated application that enhances your creative process. New
features included are as follows transparency controls for creating watermarks,
tables for layout, consistent color management using the Adobe Core Technology,
which is great for pantone , and also InDesign's Long Document support,
which is for the creation of indexes and tables of large amounts of content.
The lessons begins slowly by introducing the student to the workplace
interface and palettes of InDesign 2.0 studio, setting up a new document
and using all the parameters, and how to use many of the tools and plug
ins, such as line tools and frame tools. The lesson then moves on to creating
and editing text and adding and changing graphics, formatting, editing,
applying color, importing from PhotoShop or Illustrator, and more.
